Our Growing Family Tree..

I miss my sister dearly.  When we start talking on the phone, time is lost and we could talk to each other for hours.   We have you know, one time while we were on the phone; we notice it was close to 1 am before we hung up. 

Being close to my sister, and family, is paradise for me.  There is nothing like having a sister, or being a sister for that matter.

 My niece is expecting her first child; my sisters youngest daughter.  This will be my sisters 4th grand baby.  I am so excited!! 

***Sigh**   Our family tree is growing.  

 The problem?  They live in Chattanooga Tennessee.   They are the only family members we have in Tennessee, period.  Not wanting my niece and her unborn child to miss out on the first baby shower; I set out to find a way to host a Web Baby Shower.  I hadn't heard of this type of shower being done before, but what else can you do when all the family can not travel to the mother to be, and they are unable to travel to us.  I knew my work was cut out for me.

 There is all kinds of stuff a expecting parent needs.  Having the assistance of your family helps, but being so far away from family can be stressful.  I intended on helping and take some of that stress off of my sister, and the momma to be; my niece.

Having an Online Baby Shower is going to require all our family members to be online at the same time, while the mother to be opens the baby's gifts.  Gifts that will have to be mailed or purchased online and sent directly to the mother - to - be.  I really want this to workout.

Everyone knows that a Baby Shower is normally hosted 3 months before the baby is born.  As of this Ultrasound, the expecting mother was 8 weeks, that puts the Due Date around January 30th.  Born right after the holidays, which will put planning a Baby shower just before the holidays.  That is naturally a busy time for everyone.  Hmm.

I am so excited to really research the possibilities of a Web Baby Shower.  So much to consider, such as time frame of the Baby Shower, if everyone in the family will be able to attend via Web, setting up an online shopping location where all the gifts will be sent directly to my niece.  Yep, I have my work cut out for me.
